AWOKE India - Workshop organized by AMU Old Boys Association in collaboration with the LMA, AWOKE India Foundation
A Skill Development Workshop was organized by AMU Old Boys' Association Lucknow at Raymond's Stitching Centre, Aliganj, on 26th of February 2022 in collaboration with the Lucknow Management Associatio
The Workshop was attended by the Executives of the above mentioned organizations and the students of the AMUOBA sponsored Silayi Centre at Talimgah Niswan Inter College.
The objective was to motivate girls from the weaker sections of the society to join the different job oriented courses offered by Raymonds.
Manager of the Centre, Mr. Ashish Kumar Tiwari, gave a detailed account of all the courses. Mr. A.K.Mathur, Patron AMUOBA, motivated girls with his encouraging words and Honorary Secretary, AMUOBA, Mr. S. M. Shoeb, promised assistance to students in every possible way.
Ms. Dipti Dwivedi of Awoke India Foundation, informed the girls about financial assistance that can be availed by them. Ms. Hina Jafri, Executive member AMUOBA, wrapped up the session with a vote of thanks.
Food packets were distributed to all the students present there.
The Workshop was attended by Mr Anwar Habib Alvi, Mr Shahid Siddiqui,Ms Shehla Haq, Ms Shazia Faruqui, Ms Ruchi Pandey of Awoke India Foundation, Ms Suhela Shoeb, Ms Subuhi Alvi, Ms Afreen Usman, MsTabassum Qidwai,ex Principal Talimgah Niswan Inter College and Ms Saira Hashmi, the teacher in charge of the AMUOBA run Silayi Centre.
